Summer Soiree at Gossamer Dreams

Gossamer Dreams is a collaborative effort between three wonderful ladies (Lesley, Stacey and Claire) and lots of guest WAHMs who do a joint stocking of gorgeous items on the 15th of each month. Usually you have 24hours to preview the items, drool over the cutest outfits, panic that you don't have enough money to buy all the fantastic items and then try desperately to purchase that one item that you have fallen in love with. This is the last one for 2011 and we are going out with a party....a Summer Soiree to be precise. So make sure you check it out. It's just like Xmas!

This is exactly how I feel when I know an order for some new goodies is about to arrive on my doorstep. I have two at the moment that I'm waiting on, both from the US. I can't wait to start and play. I have some beautiful polymer clay beads and pendants coming from Humblebeads and I have some sterling silver bits and pieces coming for a new range that I'm hoping to launch very soon all going to plan. Hopefully in time for the next Gossamer Dreams stocking and Christmas.

Movember!

Wow the year has flown and tomorrow will be November or Movember in our house! As some of you might know my DH Jamie is doing Movember to raise funds for men's health issues, in particular prostate cancer and depression. It is a great cause that comes with the price of a hairy little mustache (something that I'm not looking forward to). Woo hoo!! The package arrived from Thailand with some pretty little sterling silver flowers and hearts inside. Thank goodness the aussie dollar was high..pity it didn't stay high. Yummy Sterling Silver

I'm completely and utterly addicted to beading! After making the cute little giveaway earrings I decided that I needed to make some sterling silver things - so away I went and this is what I have come up with today.

Gorgeous Heart Earrings!

Holidays give me a lot of time on my hands - which is fantastic, but now I have more time I start dreaming and breathing beading! These earrings are made from all sterling silver findings. 

The little heart charms are approx.10mm and the earrings are approx. 32mm long.

Wow! I can't believe that I've finally started my blog. I have been meaning to do this for a little while but unfortunately working full time and a very busy household has been putting it on the shelf. Thank goodness for the holidays!
